Sean and Tony departed to Rio de Janeiro to unwind and relax after the holiday. The botanical gardens were first on the list of sites with Christ the Redeemer in the background of the first photo is breathtaking. The statue is surrounded by mist after a heavy rain.
When it’s time for a café break Tony enjoys treats from Confeitaria Colombo on Rua Gonçalves Dias, 32, this establishment is 120 years old and the food is absolutely amazing when dining in an antiquated establishment.
Copacabana is one of the most famous beaches in the world, and is absolutely beautiful after a storm. You can almost hear the sounds of bossa nova from Antônio Carlos Jobim.
Travel stylishly,
K
Brilliant photos especially of Cristo Redentor. And the treats have me peeking in the fridge…….

Wow!!!!!!! Look at Rio. Bossa Nova is exactly what i’m thinking and listening to as I view these wonderful pics. I absolutely love the statue of Christ atop of the mountain. Very nice post.

Rio and Bossa Nova go together like sangria y tapasI, I so enjoy listening to rhythmic music while sipping a delicous wine. Ipanema and Jobim are another perfect combination when visiting the beach in Rio.
