San Antonio

With only four days to spend in San Antonio, we had just scratched the surface of what we wanted to do. We were there for the solar eclipse, but had the chance to visit a few sites……  starting with the Alamo, the San Antonio Museum of Art and a few craft shops dotted around the city. Here are a few highlights:

Our hotel {The Westin} was off the River Walk which made it easy for us to get to shops, and restaurants using the pathways and bridges. The Alamo is always a must see to learn Texas history.

When traveling …… food always plays an integral part in my expeditions. I love learning about and taste-testing items from the region. Tex-Mex is top on my list, and I couldn’t stop eating “chips and guacamole”, which became a staple when having a margarita. Barbecue was next from 2M Smokehouse on the outskirts of the city. and for your sweet-tooth stop by Voodoo Doughnut on Houston Street.

Stay stylish,
Kathleen
