A few of us headed to San Antonio this weekend, and let me say how much I love an opportunity to visit Texas. We arrived on Thursday morning and have been exploring this south-central area of the state. There’s nothing like getting reacquainted with favorite spots such as the 2M Smokehouse for our share of barbecue and sipping our share of mezcal, while perusing the requisite historic sites. People here are very friendly and most helpful in regard to what to see and do within the area ……. they enjoy sharing .
