Earlier today I began to long for a bit of adventure, a change of pace that was needed to a picturesque city bolstered in history. So, I grabbed the laptop to expand my knowledge regarding the capital city of the Netherlands [Amsterdam], where I’ll be traveling in a few weeks. I’m compiling an itinerary to art galleries, museums, and restaurants. Rembrandt House Museum has been added and I’m working on passes to Anne Frank House. The culinary landscape will be a huge highlight as we sample Gouda cheese and pastries. I’ve examined maps and see neighborhoods are compact and pedestrian-friendly, so walking will be the preferred mode of transport.

I went there 10 years ago for a few days. Such a fun place. I loved the Van Gogh museum. Very immersive 🙂

My co-workers have stated that A’dam is a great city to discover, and thank you for reminding me of the Van Gogh museum. I’ve just added it to the itinerary.
