Xin Nian Kuai Le
Who is ringing in celebrations this evening for the year of the Ox? I’ve ordered Chinese take-out with potstickers for dinner, we’re welcoming the year by turning to a few traditions, such as serving dumplings. They resemble ancient Chinese money and are eaten for good luck during the Lunar New Year, much like we eat collard greens and black-eyed peas at the start of the year since they resemble cash and coins.
2020 was precarious year at best, we all could use a nudge or a sign that the future holds much hope and happiness for everyone.
Wishing good fortune to all!!!

After working an extremely busy week, I thought the prefect start to the weekend was a Chinese dinner, and it happened to be Lunar New Year!
