Tabaco y Ron 38146 38- a, Cra. 8, Cartagena de Indias, Provincia de Cartagena, Bolívar, Colombia
From our first day in Cartagena, we explored each cobblestone street and square to familiarize ourselves with the port city. The heat from the tropical climate was intensified immensely by the humidity. Sightseeing included ducking into the colorful buildings, cathedrals and parks to escape the sun. During the siesta hours we found a quaint establishment called Tabaco y Ron, which became our daily hideaway to relax and unwind around 3:30 or 4:00ish. A few family members enjoyed cigars, as they have authentic Cuban Habano’s for the connoisseur. It was a cool place to escape from the sweltering heat while enjoying a light snack, a refreshing drink and listening to music. The artwork on the walls were painted by local artist. The portraits were most creative, there are two paintings I want to purchase upon my return trip in May 2023.
Travel stylishly,
Kathleen
