The winter solstice arrived last night in the northern hemisphere bearing several gifts; the longest night, the shortest day and a full moon known as the Full Cold Moon. The added bonus of having such a brilliant moon over the next few days will lend light to our celebration, while in Rome.
Enjoy the following scenes taken while meandering the streets to stay dry.

Life does not get any better than this!! It is rare to have a full moon coincidental to a December solstice or within a day of each other and will not occur again until 2029. Great pics!!

Sean was sitting on the side of the plane at take off and didn’t think to get a photo of moon. But as we walked around, and sky cleared up, it was great to see moon!!!
