Almost Thanksgiving

This weekend we began prepping our holiday menu, and decided to keep a few tried and true favorites in the way of side-dishes, such as broccoli casserole, green beans with potatoes and candied yams.

Last year, I tested positive for COVID the week before Thanksgiving and it was the first time in years that I didn’t cook or give thanks with family and friends. Luckily, I experienced the symptoms of a light cold but, missed out on the festivities due to isolation.

This year I’m looking forward to celebrating and am eager to participate in the spirit of giving, especially with food!
