November Supermoon

img_6262{This photograph was shared by my beautiful niece Shana}

A few fun facts:

  1. The November 14th full moon is the closest and brightest supermoon since January 26 1948 and this spectacular phenomenon will not occur again until November 25, 2034.
  2. The moon’s orbit is slightly elliptical so, when it passes close to Earth this is known as “perigee”, causing it to appear larger in diameter and shine 30% brighter.
  3. This moon may also be called the “Frosty Moon“.

Get out and remember to keep looking up!!!

Weekend Favorite’s

IMG_0829{Friday evening sunset, this is how you start the weekend}

My schedule is so packed that I never have a minute to be alone for a bit of creative thinking or time to do absolutely positively nothing. And, as much as I would like to slow down the clock, the holidays will be here in the blink of an eye. So, carving out time is always a must each weekend; I begin each morning with a few chores and then call the afternoons and evenings mine.

Saturday afternoon started with a brief fashion show at Bloomingdale’s in Tyson’s Corner with my BFF- Terlene to view the contemporary British designs for women called Hobbs of London. As the champagne flowed it was wonderful meeting those with a similar interest in the fall-winter styles.

Stay stylish,
