Happy Holidays

This has been a most arduous week; my youngest brother fell on the front of the our icy house and broke his jaw in two places, but with the progressive health team at Reston Hospital, he is home recovering very well. The last few days have been spent between work and the hospital, and this being the season of miracles, family have arrived safely, and my 10-month old nephew is spending his first Christmas at Heath.

Cookies have been baked, packaged in holiday style then delivered to friends, while out and about the neighborhood there was the opportunity to see beautiful decorations and lights.

Now, it’s back home to curl up on the sofa with a cup of creamy eggnog and family.

Warm Holiday Wishes

From the Freer/Sackler museum in Washington DC, artist Subodh Gupta has taken basic household objects, such as brass vessels and stainless steel found in India and has comprised these items into an incredible installation called Terminal. The towers range from one to fifteen feet in height, and resemble architectural features found in mosques, temples and/or churches. The intricate thread woven throughout the structure is beautifully delicate.

From all of us at Stylish Heath have a wonderful holiday season and a most joyous New year!
