Spring Gardening

Each morning I can hardly wait to get out of bed and head to the garden. I’m so eager to start the day to see the progression of growth for flowers and veggies in the yard. There’s something vital about planning a garden and watching it evolve; buying plants, propagating seeds and preparing the ground is a phenomenal experience.

As far back as I can remember, there’s nothing as wonderful as the smell of freshly turned earth in spring or the feel of cool air surrounding you as you work the land.

My brothers and I work the property together managing a huge list of chores to ensure a continuation of beauty over the following months. We work hard bringing back to life old companions; peonies that have been staked and daffodils are spilling out from the back part of the garden into the woodland meadow.

Get outdoors and stay stylish,
Kathleen

    1. That’s the perfect way to start the day….. checking on plants with a cup of coffee …. especially in PJ’s. I also enjoy a last view of the garden in the evening before the sun sets.
