Stylish Heath was launched five years ago as a platform for pushing the boundaries of creative style. November is one of my favorite months, the holidays are around the corner for; decorating festively, playing holiday music, and testing recipes. Blogging  encourages me to think “out of the box” and has become a most enjoyable way of sharing information with each of you, the innovative approaches to creating art, preparing food, enjoying photography and traveling.

Today we are celebrating by venturing out into the world…{Venice] showing what’s taking place in this captivating island city and share what makes traveling so exciting.

I am grateful you have taken time to visit and thanks to our team of travelers who share their adventures with Stylish Heath!!!

Festival Internazionale: Venice

IMG_4845 IMG_4825One travels to get away from the drudgery of the ordinary and to be rerouted back to a reasonable level of tranquility or complete relaxation. But, for the last five days I have been in Venezia, capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, which is a series of small islands in a lagoon off the Adriatic Sea. The Grand Canal meanders throughout the city with its narrow streets and small squares creating a maze-like quality of confusion while walking.

IMG_4830 IMG_4831Getting lost is the best part of checking where you have ended up only to learn something new and fascinating about the city, such as discovering a shop that sells the best “biscotti e dolci” {cookies and sweets} or finding another gallery with fabulous artwork on display. The 15th International Architecture Exhibition- la Biennale di Venezia 2016: Reporting from the Front is being held until November 27th, this exhibition is open in the Giardini and Arsenale venues of the town.
