A few fun facts:
- The November 14th full moon is the closest and brightest supermoon since January 26 1948 and this spectacular phenomenon will not occur again until November 25, 2034.
- The moon’s orbit is slightly elliptical so, when it passes close to Earth this is known as “perigee”, causing it to appear larger in diameter and shine 30% brighter.
- This moon may also be called the “Frosty Moon“.
