Destination: London

It’s always fun to explore a city by daylight, but I have always loved the nightlife, and our team member Tony captured these beautiful shots of London last week. A few nightish activities to partake in while here are happy hour; jazz clubs, the theater and visiting the Sky Garden.Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London, divided by Serpentine Lake and is one of the Royal Parks. The park was the site of the Great Exhibition of 1851, and is a spot to get ideas for your own garden.

Travel stylishly,

Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams

In London, the Victoria and Albert Museum is the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance. Objects span over 5,000 years of human creativity with resources for the study of architecture, furniture, fashion, textiles, photography, sculpture, Asian art, theater and performance.

Our team went to the Christian Dior exhibit which spans from 1947 to the present, and Dior was one of the most influential couturiers of the 20thcentury with an influential fashion house.

Dior’s sketches were absolutely elegant and he stated “I think of my work as ephemeral architecture, dedicated to the beauty of the female body”. Anchored by the curves of a woman’s figure Dior’s designs played with structure and proportion to create clothes that powerfully expressed attitude!!!

Stay stylish,
Kathleen
