Settling into the “stay at home” order has become the new normal. Our creativity has been pushed to new levels as we nestle in to find viable interest and to stave off boredom. Yesterday, I was seriously craving Chinese food which remains one of my absolute favorite comfort food options. Growing up this style of food was a weekend treat in our household, and now our neighborhood has opened restaurants that are reintroducing regional dishes such as; Char Siu Bao, Dan Dan Mein or Wonton Noodle soup, but last night I opted for Crab Fried rice from my own kitchen.

Mmmmmmmm. That looks absolutely delicious. Can I place an order to go. I’ll pay you with cash and leave it under the door mat. And you can leave your scrumptious dish on the front porch. Nice post. I’m sure everyone can relate.

I would be most pleased to leave an order of “fried rice” to go for you, and it’s delicious with “ shrimp foo young”!!!!

Look at how creative you are. It’s better when it’s homemade anyway 😀.

Since working from home has become the new norm, all I do is think of food. I so enjoy working close to my kitchen.
