This year’s Venice Biennale artist Lorenzo Quinn created a sculpture of two hands arising from the city’s famous Grand Canal called Support, as a harrowing reminder of the rising sea levels caused by climate change. Support will be on display until November 26th at the Ca’ Sagredo Hotel, Campo Santo Sofia.
After a day of sightseeing there is nothing like checking into a quaint spot for cocktail hour, sipping on a deliciously cold martini’s at Ristorante La Caravella on Calle Larga, near Piazza San Marco, and has the decor reminiscent of a ship {which is so Venetian}. Next, it’s off to Trattoria Alla Madonna for a dinner of risotto, lobsters, and red wine…. è delizioso.
The cocktails are enticing and the lobster looks delicious. Table for two please!!
