After an extremely busy day with family and gardening there is nothing like having a delicious dessert ready to serve with sip of Amaretto and espresso. In our neighborhood there is the most remarkable Italian deli that serves the best homemade pasta or pizzas when the need for a fabulous meal arises. But, today all I wanted were a few freshly baked cookies made with pistachios, lemon and cinnamon to start the evening.
