I have read that no two people ever see the same rainbow, even if a viewer is standing next to the first person, the refraction and dispersion of light in the water droplets will not be viewed as the same optical or meteorological phenomenon.
That being said, this photograph taken on Saturday after torrential rainstorms and clouds covered the east coast, a gorgeous rainbow shot across the sky in Rocky Gap Maryland, which is seven miles east of Cumberland and two hours drive from Washington, D.C. Thanks to family members, Paul and Maria for this gorgeous photograph.

A picture of the rainbow is so illusive, it is almost like getting a shot of a unicorn!!!

My mother and I saw a small cloud in the sky which was rainbow color. Transparent and producing enough water to allow the sun to bring forth the spectrum. Very different and amazing at the same time!
